Structure Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION
* The Site Supervisor coordinates the efforts of key personnel to achieve the contractual scope of work.
* May be responsible for more than one project at a time.
* Provide the quality, technical and design specification and processes for RGR and project work in the region.
* When KLet technicians / contract technicians are on site for a RGR or project related job, be responsible for their HSE and work instructions.
* The job summary is not limited to above, will be evaluated time to time and are subjected to change(s) as deemed fit.
* Facilitate in supervising contractors and various work crew on site the vendor's facilities. Workshop and shipyard throughout middle-East.
* Manages and assumes complete responsibility for the assigned projects.
* Acts as representative of KLet to vendors for project development and execution during the course of the project and or RGR jobs.
* Defines, develops and overseas the project schedule and quality requirements for purchase orders to ensure completion of equipment by required delivery dates.
* Develop schedules, plans, and procedures for the various disciplines working on the project.
* Review and evaluate the plans, schedules and programs of engineering, procurement, document control and administration functions.
* Assists to obtain technical data for purchase orders and vendor data requirements list (VDRL)
* Maintains and develops project documentation, and reports.
* Preform equipment inspections and provide technical evaluations.
* Promote an active safety environment and facilitate in investigating safety incidents.
* Establishes criteria for measuring performance against company standards and takes appropriate actions to ensure planned performance within the framework of company policies and job requirements and objectives.
* Communicate project status to managers and department head.
* Report directly to the Project & RGR Manager or his delegate during his absence.
* Track company asset on sites and assure it is maintained as per agreement with the contractors or the concern party engaged, as the case may be.
* To ensure all HSE policies and procedures are followed.
* To share any near-miss and or any accidents to the reporting manager for sharing and rectification.
* Fully comply and adhere to company policies, procedures, memorandums, instructions and region circulars.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Graduation in Engineering with five to seven years relevant experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Four years' experience in project works in oilfield and or manufacturing / Fabrication industries.
* Detailed knowledge on class rules for ABS and for / DNV / BV / LR
* Valid certification in NDT level II for MPI,RT,DP & UT.
* Valid CSWIP certification for Welding Inspection
* Valid NACE certification for painting inspection
* MRP / ERP software experience preferred.
* Proficient in MS windows and MS Project.
* Ability to speak effectively with customers, vendors and employees at all level within the organization
* Strong organizational skills
* Fluency in English Language to read, write and speak is a must, fluency in other languages will be an advantage.
* Proficiency in technical reading and writing.
* UAE / International driver's license will be requirement.
* Work with minimum supervision.
* Able to work under pressure efficiently.
