As a Field Representative, you will begin your development in a Training
Class. Following the training class, you will enter rotational assignments
tailored to an industry or distribution service (dealer development) career
path. Rotational assignments will be focused on developing industry and
product application knowledge as well as a strong understanding of the
Caterpillar Dealer network.
This is a position designed to build the employees skill sets within a
specific industry and to help prepare you for future field rep as an Oil &
Gas Rep.
The Oil & Gas Rep job duties include:
* counselling dealers in developing increased human performance capability
* providing guidance on existing and potential customer service issues and improvement measures within one industry
* assisting dealers on forecast, sales/rental/used strategy planning and sales techniques
* supporting rollout of new products (e.g., products, parts, customer service agreements, other service products)
* analyzing and communicating marketplace and competitive activity to Caterpillar personnel and dealers
* analyzing product application, configuration and utilization that provide the best solution for a customer
* assisting dealers with business planning within one industry; helping to create and promote programs that increase sales while maximizing price realization
* and continuing to develop required proficiency level in the specified foundation competencies and skills.
Required Qualifications:
* Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree mandatory
* ‎2 - ‎5 years of professional experience maximum
* Must be willing to travel extensively (‎20%-‎50%)
* Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
* Self-starter, can take initiative and willing to go the extra mile
* Fluent in English and Arabic

Desired Qualifications:
* Experience in the Oil & Gas
* Demonstrated technical aptitudes - Sales, Field experience an advantage
* Strong technical and commercial understanding / experience in power and energy solutions
