RESPONSIBILITIES
* Attend the departmental briefings and make note of all important information.
* Collect the daily checklist, keys, shift mobile, equipment and other materials required for the day's operation.
* Ensure that the housekeeping pantry is well stocked, clean and the notice boards are updated at the beginning and end of the shift.
* Check the guest corridor (including the house phone and lift landings) for any maintenance or cleanliness.
* Physically service and check all vacant rooms for any maintenances, cleanliness and type of service (E.g. turndown).
* Prioritize the room cleaning requests and turning around the departure room as per the expected time of arrival.
* Change the bed linen in every morning shift or as specified by the guest
* Ensure that the soiled linen and garbage is cleared from all pantries at the end of every shift.
* Ensure only fresh and good quality linen is used in guest rooms
* Empty the dust bags of the vacuum cleaners at the end of every shift
* Follow hotel security guidelines
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
* Minimum 1 year work experience as a Room Attendant
* Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products
* Good physical health and stamina
* Flexibility to work in shifts
* Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards
* Excellent organization skills
* Ability to follow instructions
* Good communication skills
* Exceptional customer service skills
* High school diploma is a plus
