Department Description:
Emirates NBD is one of the largest banks in the Middle East with over USD 6Bn
in revenues and 14000 employees globally As part of its strategic mandate the
bank has recently setup its Advanced Analytics Centre of Excellence for
driving ENBDs ambitious advanced analytics agenda across ENBD.
Brief Description:
Core objectives of the center include
Deliver 500-800 Mn AED business impact through a series of use cases AA
projects executed in collaboration with the BUs
Instill a data driven culture across ENBD by building organization wide
capabilities in advanced analytics
The CoE will act as an enabler to the BUs to deploy advanced analytics models
to drive smarter decisions across different domains It will act as a guiding
light to BUs to ideate on whats possible with advanced analytics help them
prioritize these ideas and pilot and productionalize them through
crossfunctional AA squads
Detailed Description:
Business Analytics Partner leads the use case squad and use case delivery
maintains and drives the use case roadmap and defines with sponsors the
strategic vision for use cases
He/She has a deep understanding of the business domain and builds close
relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that the squads effort is
aligned with overall strategic goals
He/She works closely within their squad to ensure business requirements and
user feedback is translated into sprint planningnew developments
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Formulate use case roadmap and work with different stakeholder to ensure
smooth delivery
Problem solve with squad members to generate impactful analytics insights
Partner with BUs to support effective actioning on analytics insights
Work with business domain to ensure adoption across impacted teamsdeveloping
incentives KPIs operational alignment etc
Ensure clear and effective customer stakeholder feedback loops are designed
and aligned with business domain
Provide progress and impact updates to BU leadership and collaborate to
resolve implementation challenges
Ensure that financial impact and performance tracking of use case impact is
regularly conducted
Develop Squad Members
Support identification of suitable squad members for each use case
Help squad members set their development and delivery objectives
Set the overall squad goals and priorities for each sprint
Communicate business leadership feedback and priorities to the squad to be
incorporated
Provide onthejob apprenticeship and regular feedback to squad members to
accelerate their development
Additional Details:
6 experience within business domain
Experience in managing highperforming teams
Experience in agile working environments
Previous experience leading analytics projects
Prior experience dealing with a team of data scientistsdata engineers
Basic understanding of IT digital data engineering and data analytics
Basic understanding of advanced analyticskey activities and roles etc
Project and people management skills
Strong diplomatic and influencing skills
Practical and action oriented
Strong leadership skills Ability to manage energize and inspire others
