Job Description:


Caterpillar EAME Distribution Services Division is looking towards the future
and expanding its Services sales through the eCommerce channel. We have an
exciting opportunity for an eCommerce Growth Consultant who will be
responsible to drive achievement of the EAME eCommerce business plan for
Parts.Cat.com (PCC) in support of the Services Growth Strategy. This role is
accountable to drive eCommerce growth in Africa Middle-East (AME) and the
deployment of Retail functionalities in PCC through Global Dealer Standards
enablement. The role requires strategic understanding of AME dealer Digital
capabilities to determine how eCommerce can be best utilized to drive value to
support Caterpillar Services Growth Strategy. This position is within the EAME
Digital Operations group.
Responsibilities include:
* Support AME dealers to develop eCommerce growth plans, in collaboration with District Offices, Digital Operations Consultants and CatDigital.
* Support the deployment of PCC Global Dealer Standards to enable key Retail functionalities in AME dealer eCommerce eSites to drive growth at Retail customers using online channel.
* Use significant eCommerce project management knowledge and experience to establish and govern both eCommerce Growth Plans and Global Dealer Standards functionalities deployment plans for AME dealers, in collaboration with District Offices, Digital Operations Consultants and CatDigital.
* Drive appropriate engagement within various levels of the dealership and Caterpillar internal partners to understand the full suite of dealer capabilities needed to successfully achieve eCommerce growth plans and PCC Global Dealer Standards functionalities enablement.
* Provide consultation to dealers on eCommerce growth and PCC Global Dealer Standards functionalities enablement
* Consult on issues with eCommerce growth and PCC Global Dealer Standards functionalities deployment, establish feedback loop to Digital Operations, Industries and CatDigital groups
* Build and manage training and communication internally and within the dealers on eCommerce, PCC and Global Dealers Standards functionalities
* Achieve AME eCommerce growth targets, in support of Services Growth Strategy.
Requirements:
* University degree in Digital, Marketing or related discipline
* ‎9+ years of eCommerce experience, with successful track record of leading eCommerce growth and Digital deployment initiatives, especially in B2B industries
* Strong project management experience demonstrated in prior ‎6 Sigma, Caterpillar Production Systems or Services Marketing projects as leader (green belt/black belt) or equivalent, including communication and change management planning/coaching
* Strong, proven interpersonal skills including public presentation proficiency and ability to earn trust and credibility with senior dealer management teams
* Strong skills working with people from different backgrounds and cultures, and the ability to influence and resolve differences and issues.
* Strong ability to adapt quickly to high velocity and change.
Desired experience:
* Proficiency in English - Arabic and/or French recommended
* eCommerce experience
* Project management experience
* Communication skills (both written and verbal) including the ability to partner and build relationships
* Previous field based assignments in distribution network development
