Project Manager
Work location : Dubai
Responsibilities :
* Create, maintain and monitor comprehensive project management plan (e.g. charter, communication plan, timeline, RACI matrix, risk register, issue register, etc.)
* Execute the project management plan and lead the project team(s) to deliver the project(s) on time, within budget and with quality
* Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs as per the organizational change management process
* Perform risk management to minimize project risks and keep the risk register updated
* Report and escalate issues as needed and document all issues in the issue register with corrective & preventive actions
* Track, monitor and control all project actions and decisions and escalate any high priority concerns to management in a timely fashion
* Manage an excellent relationship with all stakeholders and understand & meet their diverse expectations
* Work with project owner and QA to ensure that the project meets the required quality standards
* Undertake status review meetings with project team members and stakeholders and prepare weekly status reports
* Undertake steering committee meeting with project sponsor, owner and senior management Ability to Manage multiple projects in parallel without compromising quality
* Ability to influence conflicting needs of various stakeholders and project teams to ensure timely delivery
Qualifications :
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Business Management or a related field
* Minimum 12 years of experience with a minimum of 8 years IT projects.
* Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is a must
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies & Microsoft Project & Office Tools
* Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management and conflict management ability
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
* Experience working for large and established global IT companies
* Coaches and advises team members to accomplish project goals, to meet established schedules and resolve technical & project issues creatively
