Role Purpose
The Planning Co-Ordinator is an important and central role within the team
working with a wide range of stakeholders, the Planning Co-Ordinator's tasks
include:
Planning and scheduling training courses, ensuring the effective utilization
of both our full-time faculty and associate trainers. Updating and maintaining
data in Planning systems and production of MI (management information) and KPI
reporting. Processing purchase orders and invoices.
Role Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
* Identifying available training resource and allocating to thousands of training days a year, ensuring effective resource utilization and consideration of trainer evaluation scores
* Enter and update schedules in the Planning system to accurately reflect planned activity
* Manage requests for holidays and other non-teaching activity to ensure that there are no clashes that will affect business requirements and updating the relevant records
* Attend Resource Planning meetings to help identify and resolve any resource conflicts
* Update process documentation and recommend changes and improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
* Process purchase order requests and invoices following the relevant policies and processes
* Produce accurate and timely management information reporting and monitor key performance metrics
* Support other members of the global Planning team and be an advocate of global planning processes
Role Requirements
Essential
* Previous experience of resource planning and scheduling in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
* Detail orientated and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in time-limited situations
* Demonstrable experience of developing and managing good relationships with third-parties and stakeholders with good understanding on how to resolve issues and conflicts
* Excellent time management and communication skills
* Previous experience of using Microsoft Excel to produce reporting and data analysis
Desirable
* Previous experience of using Workforce Management Software
* Experience of creating process documentation and workflows
* Knowledge of resource and capacity planning models

* Analytical and process driven approach with flexibility to manage changing requirements
* Capable of producing high quality consistent work within limited timeframes
* Confident and able to work autonomously and with a team
* Flexible and adaptable with strong communication skills
