Job Description:
Join a dynamic, vibrant and customer focused team. You will display a positive
'can do' attitude and be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer
service experience to all our guests.
* Ensure The First Collection brand standards, policies and procedures are adhered to all times.
* Be familiar with all hotel facilities, hours of operation and current promotions.
* Assist the guests with their luggage, when arriving or departing from the hotel.
* Assist the guests with loading/offloading from the vehicle.
* Adhere to guest check-in and check-out procedures pertaining to baggage handling.
* Be knowledgeable of all traffic regulations and abide by them at all times.
* Maintain an alert position in the Entrance; do not form groups when not busy.
* Make sure to arrange traffic flow at the entrance of the hotel.
* Be familiar with local area services, offices, attractions, restaurants, etc.
* Able to provide directions to various destinations within the city.
* Manage the valet drivers and make sure that all a properly groomed, well presented and adhering to TFC standards.
* Be fully aware of all safety and emergency procedures.
* Be security conscious at all times, inform manager of anything suspicious.
* Report any accidents immediately to the management.
* Always use proper etiquette when communicating with guests and team players.
* Be familiar with all in-house groups.
* Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc.
* Review Front Office logs, trace file and transport requirements for guest shuttle services and limousine company.
Desired Skill & Expertise:
* Minimum SPM / "O" Level or professional Certificate in administration management or equivalent.
* At least ‎1 year experience in a ‎4/‎5 star Hotel/Resort.
* Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
* Required language(s): fluent English, native Arabic and French preferred.
* Team player with excellent planning and organizing skills.
* Able to work flexible working hours with rotating shifts.
* Pleasant personality with good problem-solving skills.
* Extremely agile as the job demands speed, physical strength and efficiency in its execution.
* Able to handle heavy luggage.
