Our Client
A high growth digital logistics business across Europe and the Middle East
have an exciting new opportunity for a Head of Finance to join their team
based in Dubai.
Your Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the finance teams across multiple geographies, reporting directly to the Group CFO
* Drive short-term and long-term financial planning for the organization, providing strategic recommendations to the CFO and senior management
* Lead and guide the financial operations of the organization to ensure alignment of financial activities with organizational goals
* Maintain good relationship with banks, financial institutions and senior officers in statutory regulatory bodies
* Conduct a thorough risk review and assessment including but not limited to business coverage operations, financial analysis and projections, risk assessment, and industry risks
* Establish and maintain documentation of internal controls, policies, and procedures related to financial reporting and compliance
* Oversee and assist in tax filings and compliance documentation
Your Qualifications
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CMA/CPA)
* At least 10-12 years finance experience, including in a leadership role
* Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* Experience working in a high growth startup environment is advantageous.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required.
