Mission description
* Conduct inspections and audits of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify compliance with quality specifications.
* Investigate and resolve any non-conformities or quality issues identified via RCA/5W methodology
* Identify areas for process improvement within inventory management and quality control functions
* Generate regular reports on inventory performance, quality compliance, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve inventory accuracy and quality
* Undertakes timely investigations with the appropriate stakeholders to ensure that facts are gathered and communicated to concerned business units
* Builds and maintains relationships with internal / external stakeholders
* Accurately reports on KPIs as defined by internal / external stakeholders
* Recommends improvements to Operations standards and procedures and ensures the implementation of these procedures and controls
* Contributes to the identification of opportunities for Stock Optimizations (ABC analysis) implementation of processes that warrant quality control on operations in and output
* Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory records through regular physical counts and reconciliations.
* Maintain the integrity of stock data in the warehouse management system.
* Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records promptly.
* Establish and enforce quality control standards and procedures to ensure compliance with customer requirements and internal standards.

Profile
Qualifications and Skills
* Bachelor's degree (in a logistics, business or related field).
* At least ‎4 years' experience in an operational environment of logistics, shipping or freight forwarding industry, leading an operational team.
* Proficient understanding of freight forwarding operations, Bollore Logistics products and services.
* Advanced computer skills (particularly in MS Word, Excel and Outlook).
* Understanding of Warehouse Safety
* Knowledge of inventory control principles, techniques, and best practices.
* Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures for various types of products.
* Proficient in using inventory management software and other relevant tools.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
