MENAT Finance Intern – Dubai United Arab Emirates

Job Requirements

We Offer:
* Full time internship of ‎6 months with the possibility to be extended to another ‎6 months.
* Initial onboarding in the first weeks to learn about the company, our culture, values and ways of working.
* We are very a rich cluster with ‎48 markets and go to market models. The selected candidate will learn the different complexities in each market/ business model and the different finance business partnering we are providing in these markets.
* Learn through a rotation development program in areas of Accounting, Tax and Statutory accounting, treasury, financial planning / Business support. This will allow the selected candidate to:
* Have a practical learning experience in financial cycles, business development, and will learn the regulatory aspects in general within the pharmaceutical industry in different markets, acquiring new knowledge and developing competencies in the fundamentals of Finance, Financial operations & processes, business insights, financial regulatory knowledge, business partnering and analytics & Reporting.
* Develop soft skills, leading by influence, communication, and storytelling, working on a learning organization with independency & integrity.
* Be involved in daily finance interactions with key business stakeholders in the organization, as well as special projects and other interesting aspects in the business financial and strategy of a company.
* Assignment to a senior finance Mentor/Coach for the duration of the internship that will Support in the development of the selected candidate and that will be available for consultation.
* Periodic evaluations with the objective of improving performance, review development progress and bidirectional feedback.

Key responsibilities
* Support all critical FP &A processes for the MENAT markets with a lean and innovative approach.
* Provide decision support to FP&A Manager and Finance Director through and outside of planning cycles.
* Support performing forecasting/planning cycles.
* Involved in the monthly closing activities, as well as analysis and reporting to senior management (OtC, AtR, StS)
* Establish stakeholder relationships with business partners, commercial teams and the finance network
* Collaborate closely with Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to optimize local processes and deliverables
* Continuously focus on process optimization and simplification
* Provide ad-hoc support to the MENAT FD as need (FP&A, controlling and accounting)
* Support analysis that enables commercial investments & new Business Development.

Work Experience

Required Experience and Skills:
* Pursuing Degree in Accounting/Finance
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Able to synthesize data into clear and concise visuals and key take-aways
* Fluent in English (proficiency level), other local languages are a plus.
* Full Time availability, for a one-year internship duration (‎6 months with the possibility to be extended for another ‎6 months).
* Have the possibility to take an internship in Dubai.
