Job Description:
As a Store Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day
operations of our store. You will work closely with the store management team
to ensure a clean, organized, and customer-friendly environment. This role
requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can contribute to
creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and assist customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
* Maintain a neat and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves and arranging displays.
* Assist with receiving, unpacking, and labeling merchandise.
* Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately.
* Keep track of inventory levels and communicate low stock situations to the management team.
* Monitor and maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the store.
* Assist in periodic inventory counts and stock rotation.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth flow of operations.
* Provide information to customers about products, promotions, and store policies.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is a plus.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
