Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Delivery Driver based in Dubai, United
Arab Emirates. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for transporting and
delivering luxury, pre-owned, and brand-new designer handbags and accessories
to our clients. The Delivery Driver will also be responsible for taking
merchandise inventory and ensuring that merchandise is transported safely and
efficiently. You will be the face of our company, interacting with customers,
suppliers, and other team members. This position requires a high level of
responsibility, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to providing
exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
* Customer Service and Sales skills
* Forklift Operation skills
* Experience in training other employees
* Food & Beverage experience is preferred
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Professional appearance and demeanor
* Valid UAE driver's license and clean driving record
* Fluency in English and Arabic
Key Responsibilities:
* Safe and Timely Delivery: Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers in a timely manner, ensuring that products arrive in excellent condition.
* Route Planning: Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and minimize fuel consumption.
* Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance on company vehicles to ensure they are in good working order. Report any issues or needed repairs promptly.
* Customer Service: Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner. Please help with unloading and delivering products as required.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery receipts and logs.
* Adherence to Traffic Laws: Strictly adhere to all traffic and safety regulations, including vehicle load limits, hours of service, and any other applicable laws.
* Report Incidents: Report any accidents, incidents, or traffic violations to the appropriate authorities and company management.
* Inventory Management: Assist in loading and unloading products at the warehouse and ensure that inventory counts are accurate.
* Communication: Communicate effectively with the warehouse team, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and address any issues.
Qualifications :
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
* Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
* Strong time management and organizational skills.
* Ability to lift and carry heavy packages and products.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
Additional Requirements:
* A good understanding of GPS navigation systems.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
* Physical fitness and the ability to handle the physical demands of the role.
