As an IT Support Executive at Noorka Logistics, you will play a crucial role
in ensuring the efficient operation of our IT systems and providing technical
support to our staff. You will be responsible for maintaining and
troubleshooting the organization's hardware, software, and network
infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Technical Support: Provide first-level technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues, troubleshooting network problems, and assisting with various IT-related inquiries.
* System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks on computer systems, servers, and other IT infrastructure to ensure their optimal performance.
* Software Installation and Updates: Install, configure, and update software applications, including operating systems and business software, ensuring they are up to date and secure.
* Hardware Management: Manage and maintain computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Perform repairs and replacements when necessary.
* Network Management: Monitor and maintain the organization 's network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls. Troubleshoot network issues to ensure stable connectivity.
* Security: Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard the organization 's data and IT assets, including antivirus software, firewalls, and access controls.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licenses, and support requests. Create user guides and documentation to facilitate user self-help.
* User Training: Provide basic training and guidance to end-users on IT-related topics and best practices.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
* Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
* Familiarity with Windows and MacOS operating systems.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) will be a plus.
