Job Purpose: About the role Ensure effective implementation of an
organizational total quality management and compliance framework supporting
the section's Compliance Monitoring initiatives. Report on audits across EKAS
and oversight audits across SkyCargo and Emirates Aviation College, ensuring
the maintenance of internal standards, international aviation regulatory
compliance and reducing the risk profile of the Department. Responsible for
conducting potable water quality audits, as mandated by the World Health
Organization and/or IATA. What you will do - Support the design/implementation
of a project plan for introducing the Quality Management system, including
document and record management. - Assist the Compliance Monitoring Manager in
supporting in the production of structural amendments to checklists. Liaise
with relative business units to review quality standards and quality
performance measures, targets and tolerances. - Through conducting scheduled
quality/safety audits ensure service standards and standard operating
procedures are followed across the network for SkyCargo and regulatory/SLA
compliance in case of Emirates Aviation College. This includes audits on
Ground Service Providers with all interface departments and stakeholders
within and outside the Emirates Group. Ensure timely submission of audit
reports. - Consistently review all root cause, corrective and preventive
actions submitted by auditees ensuring clarity and determine the value of
evidence from various stakeholders in order to produce closed station audits.
Support in the preparation of monthly non-compliance reports for all stations.
- Design, deliver and facilitate training programs and workshops on subjects
related to quality management and service excellence. Also assist in the
development and maintenance of a quality page on the EKAS website. - Assist to
develop and publish quality manuals and compliance monitoring procedures where
required and stakeholder awareness of the same for purposes of compliance.
This will include measuring and sampling bacteria and chlorine at all assigned
network stations, through potable water quality audits, ensuring full
regulatory oversight set forth by the World Health Organization and/or IATA as
required. - Support the Manager Compliance Monitoring Ground Operations with
all external industry and government audits (SAFA, IOSA, GCAA) conducted
directly by the external regulators. Ensure currency with all necessary
ISO/IOSA training as per regulation. - Support Compliance Monitoring Team in
obtaining/maintaining quality management accreditations. - Where applicable,
support the Compliance Monitoring Manager in assessing Ground Operations
standards against defined Emirates and in league competitor standards,
applying quality management tools and statistical process control techniques
to identify patterns and make recommendations for improving quality.
Qualifications & Experience: This job might be for you if you have - Degree or
Honours (12+3 or equivalent) - 5+ Years of Airport Operations, Other You'll
have an edge if you are - Airport Operations (Ramp, Passenger, Cargo) Three
years's experience in implementing quality frameworks and quality management
systems with airline or airports operator. - Preferably a certified quality
lead auditor ISO 9001 or equivalent. IATA Quality Pool Auditor Preferred
experience in technical fluid testing methodologies, i.e. potable water
(sedimentation, bacteria, chlorine, gravity, etc.), and aircraft fuel. -
