Engineering Coordinator

What you will be doing:
* Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair work for all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks promptly.
* Maintain records of maintenance work and track equipment servicing schedules.
* Liaise with suppliers and vendors to procure materials, parts, and services required for maintenance and repairs.
* Assist in managing the engineering department's budget, including tracking expenses and cost control measures.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment manuals, and warranties.
* Prepare reports on maintenance and engineering activities for management review.
* Schedule and assign tasks to engineering staff, contractors, and technicians as needed.
* Address guest complaints related to maintenance promptly and professionally.
Your experience and skills include:
* High school diploma or equivalent (a degree or certification in hotel management or engineering is a plus).
* Proven experience in hotel maintenance, engineering, or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
* Familiarity with safety regulations, codes, and standards in the hospitality industry.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in computer software and maintenance management systems.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
