Interior Designer

With over ‎4,000 employees, Kitopi currently operates ‎200+ locations across the

in Dubai, UAE.

We are in search of an experienced Interior Designer with at least ‎7 years of
professional experience in design and project oversight, particularly in the
Food and beverage (F&B) industry, to become a part of our team and manage an
array of space designing projects from inception to finalization. The perfect
candidate will be accountable for the conceptual design development, grasp of
specifics and details, red marking drawings, conducting site inspections, and
ensuring the constructed outcome aligns with the intended design. We desire a
comprehensive interior designer with a drive to create a meaningful
difference.

What You'll Do

• Develop design concepts and prepare full tender packages.


• Design projects with only branding guidelines and brand story in hand.


• Prepare Interior Design (ID) mood boards and establish the look and feel of a project.


• Confident and capable of making design decisions quickly and correctly.


• Is able to handle the design of a project from conceptualization to completion with little support from others.


• Expertise in layout of GA and planning, color selections, lighting, and materials selection.


• Select appropriate materials, considering their properties and specifications. Good Knowledge of materials and finishes also has good suggestions of suppliers and new materials.


• On-field experience on how design and drawings translate to on-site construction and details.


• Coordinate technical drawings with contractors, and other technical coordination Red marking drawings packages and confident enough to approve drawings with minimal mistakes on site.


• Lead communication with suppliers and contractors to obtain required information for the project.


• Prepare Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF &E) specifications


• Answer site queries and provide solutions to site-related issues.


• Review Bill of Quantities, Request for Quotation (RFQ), and Cost Comparisons.


• Supervise the work of junior interior designers, if applicable.


• Aware of project budgets and timelines and coordinate with the PM to make sure that both budgets and timelines are met

What Are We Looking For?

• Bachelor 's degree in Interior Design or Architecture with work experience in ID.


• Minimum of ‎7 years of experience in the F&B design sector.


• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe programs.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills.


• Creative talent, imagination, and an eye for detail and design.


• Ability to plan and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines.


• Strong project management and organizational skills.
