LVMH Beauty Middle East & Africa manages 8 different brands including Parfums
Christian Dior, Make Up for Ever, Givenchy, Kenzo, Loewe, Acqua Di Parma,
Guerlain and Benefit Cosmetics.
LVMH Beauty Middle East & Africa oversees an area of 52 countries and 53
airports in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and India with subsidiaries and
agents' structures.
YOUR MISSION______
Under the supervision of the Demand and Supply Planning Manager, the Demand
Planner is the interface between the Brand (Marketing, Sales, Controlling) and
the Logistic teams located in Dubai and the Supply Planning team in Europe.
The main responsibilities will be the following:
DEMAND PLANNING: Estimate the future sales of the products to each
customer of the region by analysing trends and working with
commercial/marketing/sales team to know the markets and actions planned.
* Analyse quantity and financial forecast, improve forecast accuracy.
* Work out forecast for POSM per customer and track their consumption.
* Allocate the stock to customer orders depending on several factors, such as the previous forecast communicated, the current stock level, the launch timings and the priority.
* Allocate and track the new launches to ensure we meet the OCD (On Counter Date) on all markets planned.
* Analyse the root causes of the Service Level root for customer service reports.
* Update material status file on monthly basis.
MASTER DATA MANAGEMENT: Make sure all the product information is accurate
and
updated in order to help all departments be aligned.
* New Item creation.
* Update the database according to any new information (status change, later OCD, HS code revision, etc).
* Coordinate with Regulatory Affair to make sure our products are properly registered, and we are safe to import and sell.
SUPPLY PLANNING: Manage the inventory and define the correct replenishment
of products basis sales forecast in order to meet our customers' needs on
time.
* Calculate replenishment orders based on the demand plan and the current level of stock
* Share replenishment order with the supplier and track the products until it reaches the warehouse; raise alert if any delay at any point of time.
* Optimize inbound freight charges by reducing the Air-Sea ratio.
* Run monthly stock expiry analysis to help ensure the stock health.
* Calculate monthly stock depreciation.
In this position, all initiatives taken to propose and conduct any continuous
improvement actions/ projects (optimized tool, simplified processes, reduction
of administrative workload...) will be welcome and encouraged.
PROFILE ______
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain
* University Degree with a concentrations on Supply Chain or Logistics
* Fluent in English, French and Arabic can be an advantage but are not compulsory
* Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain and Logistics concepts and application
* Proficient user of Excel
* Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
* Strong interpersonal and communications skills (oral & written)
* A dynamic and proactive personality

Internal work relations: Brand (General Management; Marketing, Sales,
Controlling); other Business partnership Teams (Logistics, Controlling,
Regulatory affairs; Traffics); and HQ (Supply, Forecast, Customer Service).
