AR Accountant

We are currently recruiting for an AR Accountant to be based in our UAE office
as part of the growth of our awesome Finance team!

Responsibilities :
* Daily sales reconciliations of point-of-sale (POS) systems, e-commerce platforms, and other sales channels
* Daily sales reconciliation of sales transactions vs Collections retail online and offline channels
* Trade Receivable account reconciliation for Marketplace, Wholesale, Payment service provider and courier partners
* Investigate and resolve discrepancies between actual sales, revenue, and recorded data
* Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to address issues related to missing or incomplete sales data
* Ensure accurate posting of sales and related transactions in the accounting system
* Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including revenue reconciliation and reporting
* Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance sales reconciliation processes and controls

Requirements :
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
* Proven experience in sales reconciliation, preferably in the retail
* Proficiency in using financial software and advanced MS Excel skills
* Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
* Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and e-commerce platforms is a plus
