Air Freight Ground Handling Operations

The increase in volumes over the past few months by ‎60 % , this exponential
growth and with the planned growth for the business within UAE and in the
region in line with the Maersk L& S strategy to increase our market presence
in Air freight , requires the need to improve our service levels .In line with
this and with the current team , it has been a challenge to manage operations
simultaneously at multiple locations .Owns the job file and also has
responsibility for creating and updating
relevant documentation and Customer Invoices in the system.
Owns all Airfreight Operations activities under file management for the
customers under purview including:
Coordinates with the support team and offers operational support at the Maersk
Air cargo facility .
Ensures all booking , cargo handover and collection timelines are met .
Support operations and in keeping the books for all operational spends .
Complete all required certification required for air cargo handling .
Adept at managing activity related to customs and other authorities
All file management activities post booking.
Documentation.
System updates.
Operational finance.
Proactive communication with customer service in case of exceptions.
Support of customer service in customer query resolution and exception
handling.
