JOB DESCRIPTION:
JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing technical assistance with computer
hardware and software to support user requirements in the Company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Serve as the first contact with users who need technical assistance via the Jira ticketing system, phone, or email.
* troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software issues raised from users.
* Responding in a timely manner to users' issues and requests.
* Following up with users to ensure full resolution of issues.
* Manage helpdesk tickets in a timely manner.
* Performing hardware and software installations, configurations, and updates as needed.
* Assist in IT infrastructure projects and documentation of manuals, etc.
* Controlling IT asset, maintaining records of computer asset.
* Ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor.
* Ensure policies, procedures and standards are meet.
REQUIRED SKILLS
* Degree/Diploma in Computer Science / Engineering / Information Technology
* 2 years + proven experience in this role or similar
* Strong analytical skills to study problems and records and identify solutions.
* Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
* Good command of English, able to communicate effectively in a multinational working
environment.
* Good team member, proactive and has a positive attitude
* Availability to work in flexible hours.
* Good knowledge in Windows OS, Office 365 and basic networking would be an advantage.
