Reach/Forklift Operator (JAFZA)

Job Summary.
As a Forklift Operator, employee will be operating a forklift and while
ensuring efficiency and safety, reporting to the warehouse supervisor.
Employee must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving
industrial vehicles. The goal will be to ensure that material and products
will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items verifying them with the shipping documents, BOE etc.
* Transporting materials to different locations within the facility, physical Receipt, and stocking of the items in the warehouse in proper and appropriate manners.
* Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
* Securing loads to the machine before transportation.
* Inspecting for damages to vehicles and load.
* Operating and managing technical equipment.
* Managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment.
* Picking and wrapping orders for shipment.
* Identifying workplace safety hazards.
* Adhering to safety management standards.
* Report and enter any / all discrepancies to the WH supervisor and or to the related personals and arrange for NCR as per company policy.
* Responsible for pulling parts for the BT transfer and handing over to Mfg.
* Receives and load incoming /outgoing rework material and maintaining OP in the system.
* Maintain accurate data and scanning the receiving documents in soft copies as well as filing the originals on regular basis as per policy
* Maintain all material handling equipment under area of responsibility in a good working condition
* Maintaining, organizing, and completing the Housekeeping and cleanliness of warehouse and area assigned by the supervisor / team leader.
* Following the HSEQ rules and meeting/ helping team to achieve HSEQ objectives set by the management
* Responsible to sustain 5S process in the warehouse and the area assign by the management
BEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
* Excellent hand-eye coordination.
* Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners.
* Good physical condition.
* Mathematical aptitude.
* Good organizational skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Good written and verbal communication.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:
* Valid fork-lifting license.
* Reach truck/forklift experience.
* Pre-Degree or above.
* At least ‎5-year experience in warehouse and logistics environment forklift operation.
* Proficient in English reading, speaking, Arabic an advantage
