Jebel Ali School is a leading British Curriculum school in Dubai for students
aged ‎3-‎18 years. Established in ‎1977, JAS has an enviable reputation for being
a much loved community school centred around the ethos that our students never

Our campus contains state of the art facilities including a standalone
Foundation Unit, Primary and Secondary Schools as well as some of the most

whom approximately ‎46% are British/Irish with an additional ‎53 nationalities
represented. Jebel Ali School follows the English National Curriculum to GCSE

The Role**
The Learning Assistant supports the classroom teacher in promoting the
learning and personal development of students, providing a learning
environment that supports their developmental and educational needs, under the
overall direction of the class teacher. Please see Job Description attached.

Requirements
The successful applicant will:
* Minimum High School / Secondary School education in English and Maths
* Graduates preferred
* Experience or aptitude for working with students with special educational needs, previous teaching or learning assistant experience preferred
* Knowledge of The National Curriculum for England and Wales preferred
* Possess a strong focus on the pastoral care of children, as well as the ability to identify and report safeguarding concerns
* Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a positive approach to both individual and collaborative professional development.
* Be available to join JAS in August ‎2023.**
