Our Housekeeping team is an integral piece of the puzzle. They are cultured
yet trendy hosts with an innate ability to anticipate guests ' needs by being
in the right place at the right time and delivering a hospitality experience
that goes above and beyond - crafting exciting memories for our guests that
last a lifetime.

The Candidate

As Supervisor, **** you will join a committed team, driven with the intent of
delivering 'FIVE-star' experiences to an international diaspora in the heart
of vibrant Dubai.

for your role, disrupt norms all whilst having the best time of your life.

As our ideal candidate, you have proven experience in a highly active
environment. Your organizational, communication, and leadership skills are
second to none and you enjoy developing guest solutions that break boundaries.

We are looking for a natural self-starter who demonstrates creative and
critical thinking abilities, can focus on, and execute, tasks with a sharp eye
for detail. An outgoing, people-friendly personality with an ability to think
'on your feet' during changing situations is also essential.

You'll work closely with the management team to develop constantly evolving
service goals.

Key Responsibilities

Supports the smooth running of the housekeeping department, where all aspects
of the guest experience are delivered to the highest levels
* Works as part of a team that maximizes guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries
* Takes responsibility for the duties and tasks assigned to the role, ensuring that all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner
* Delivers on departmental plans and objectives, where FIVE 's initiatives & targets are achieved
* Collaborates with their immediate report, ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained
* Builds and maintains effective working relationships whilst promoting FIVE's culture and values.
* Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required
* Clean assigned guest rooms according to standards established by FIVE. It involves, but is not limited to, making the bed, dusting the room and furniture, replenishing guest room and bath supplies, cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming the carpet
* Whilst cleaning the room, verify that all is in proper condition and order of functioning and reports to Supervisor any items that need repair
* Clean corridors and floor public areas around guest rooms assigned. Also maintain cleanliness of equipment and pantries
* Keep informed of hotel product and service knowledge in order to answer guest questions
* Answer all guest questions / requests in a friendly and caring manner, take appropriate actions or if needed, refer the matters to the relevant persons to handle. It may be providing information, giving an extra item such as a towel, etc.
* Write down on their assignment sheets relevant information for record purposes and possible future inquiries. At the end of shift, report special attention guest, unusual situations, incidents that need follow up, to ensure consistency and guest satisfaction
* Provide the turn down service to assigned guest rooms according to standards established by the hotel. It involves, but not limited to, turning down the bed, replenishing guest room and bath supplies and cleaning the bathroom if necessary. Help control guest and cleaning supplies to save costs
* Whilst cleaning the room, verify that all is in proper condition and order of functioning and report to Supervisor any items that need repair

Requirements
What We 're Looking For**
*
A hands-on approach with a 'can-do!' work attitude
* Knowledge of the housekeeping industry and up-to-date with housekeeping trends
* Proficiency, at intermediate level, with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Office
* Excellent standards of cleanliness and knowledge of basic sanitation requirements/controls and applications of relevant chemicals
* Previous Room Attendant experience of ‎1 - ‎2 years is a plus
* Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory
* Proficiency in multiple languages in a bonus
* Ability to be proactive, work hard and adjust job scope as require
