ASTUDIO, a digital creative agency and production house, is looking to employ
a full time Studio Assistant / Driver. If you want to join a fast-paced
growing digital creative agency, we want to talk to you.
As a Studio Assistant/Driver, you should have solid experience in updating
logs, storing, setting up and transporting production equipment.
Responsibilities:
* Must be able to take care of the studio equipment, arrange it properly in the storage, be consistent and organized.
* Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
* Must be able to work nights, weekends and potentially holidays if required.
* Update equipment log regularly.
* Must be able to carry the photo and video equipment, set it up on the day of the shoot and be present for any assistance during the shoot.
* Help prepare the set with lights, props, equipment etc., assist directors, camera people and other crew members.
* Transport equipment safely to shoot locations.
* Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid towing or additional fines.
* Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a production assistant or a passion for the industry.
* Prior experience working with an agency or production house in Dubai.
* A valid UAE driver's license is a must
* Knowledge of equipment and terminology is necessary
* Clean driving record.
* Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
* Working knowledge of local roads and routes.
* The ability to utilize maps, GPS systems, and car manuals.
* Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability
* Resourcefulness and problem-solving
* A team player with great communication skills
* Physical strength to be able to carry the production equipment
High school diploma; Relevant training (e.g., production courses) will be an
advantage.
