The Team

Our Food and Beverage team is an integral piece of the puzzle. They are
cultured yet trendy hosts with an innate ability to anticipate guests ' needs
by being in the right place at the right time and delivering a hospitality
experience that goes above and beyond - crafting exciting memories for our
guests that last a lifetime.

The Candidate

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, **** you will join a committed Food and
Beverage team, driven with the intent of delivering 'FIVE-star' experiences to
an international diaspora in the heart of vibrant Dubai and Zurich.

The VIBE at FIVE is all about performing optimally while having the best
professional experience of your life. You will be expected to have a passion
for your role, disrupt norms all whilst having the best time of your life.

As our ideal candidate, you have proven experience in a highly active
environment. Your organizational, communication, and leadership skills are
second to none and you enjoy developing guest solutions that break boundaries.

We are looking for a natural self-starter who demonstrates creative and
critical thinking abilities, can focus on, and execute, tasks with a sharp eye
for detail. An outgoing, people-friendly personality with an ability to think
'on your feet' during changing situations is also essential.

You'll work closely with the management team to develop constantly evolving
service goals.

Key Responsibilities

Will be responsible for taking the lead in driving an increase in business
across the outlet
* Set an example by reporting to duty punctually wearing business attire according to FIVE 's dress code and grooming standards, maintaining a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
* Provide a professional and courteous service at all times and ensure that all employees of the assigned outlet follow the set example
* Ensure that the place of work and surrounding areas are kept clean and organized at all times
* Inspire the team to execute the highest level of service standards at all times
* Understand the concept(s) of the outlet(s) thoroughly and train all employees of the outlet(s) in regards to the concept(s)
* Set a sterling example in terms of service, products and knowledge to the team, that reflects the concept(s) of the outlet(s)
* Organize tastings of daily dishes and new menus
* Be knowledgeable of the existing POS systems
* Lead the outlet(s) efficiently in cost and expenses, constantly delivering the highest quality of F&B services, as well as driving high top line revenue and profit results
* Assist in the preparation of the outlet's budget
* Monitor operating supplies and equipment and reduce spoilage and wastage successfully
* Establish a pool of qualified and trained full and part time employees in conjunction with FIVE's People Services Department
* Conduct daily pre-shift meetings with team members on preparation, guest profiles, services to be performed and menus served
* Handle guest enquiries and complaints in the outlet(s) in a courteous and efficient manner and report to the Head of Department / Assistant Head of Department ensuring that an effective follow-up is performed with the concerned guests
* Efficient up-selling for all items offered by the department to be assured
* Conduct monthly inventory of operating supplies and equipment together with the stewarding department

Requirements
What We 're Looking For**

Hands-on approach and flexibility with a 'can-do' work attitude
* Experience in a Five star hotel is mandatory
* Minimum of ‎2 years' experience at a management level, from a hospitality venue / stand alone venue preferred
* Commitment to delivering exceptional F&B services with a passion
* Strong leadership and management skills
* The ability to build and maintain positive and effective relationships
* Strong project management, budget and time management skills and an ability to work under pressure and within set deadlines
* Systemized and profitable mindset
* Ability to find creative solutions while taking ownership for all duties and tasks assigned
