The base location of this Sales Representative will be in Dubai, United Arab
Emirates and covering both Dubai and Sharjah and will report directly to the
Field Sales Manager.

The Position
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing the
business plan for your geographical area, to ensure that the company
objectives and sales targets are achieved. You will measure, track, evaluate,
and present key metrics: prescription depth and breadth planning.
You are expected to contribute to the national business plan by achieving
targets through the implementation of marketing and promotion strategies aimed
at effectively presenting and promoting Novo Nordisk product(s) to healthcare
practitioners.
The role will require you to take an entrepreneurial approach, and you will be
expected to operate with a high level of ownership.
You are expected to demonstrate a high level of understanding of customer
needs, anticipate and adapt action plans to maximize opportunities and address
challenges, excelling in making things happen through diligent and timely
follow-up. Work across different external stakeholders, including but not
limited to KOLs, physicians, pharmacists, and hospital management.

Qualifications
We expect you to hold a bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Medicine. You also
have a minimum of ‎3-‎6 years of experience in sales within the pharmaceutical
industry in UAE. Also, intermediate computer skills are required (Windows,
Word, and Excel); prior computer experience using sales data or call reporting
software will be ideal. You have an excellent command of both written and
spoken English.

* We expect you to be a self-starter, one who can evaluate options and find resolutions on your own with minimal supervision.
* You have an aptitude for learning and the ability to communicate technical and scientific product and disease management information, as well as a value proposition for the product(s) under your responsibility.
* You also have an entrepreneurial mindset, are a strong influencer, and are an exceptional team player.
* Experience in the Diabetes market would be beneficial.

About the department
Primary care business unite is leading new oral portfolio launch products in
the UAE which includes world class leading medication for the treatment of
diabetes, as part of the team you will be responsible for promoting Novo
Nordisk products and having exposure to our portfolio vision, business
strategies and critical market insight that contributes in changing diabetes
forward. You will be contributing in ensuring the latest therapies and
products reach the people who need them the most.
