Delivers and brings the myth of Atlantis to life using professional,
interpersonal, and confident skills. Also, shares information and conservation
efforts on all aquatic species of Lost Chambers Aquarium and other marine
habitats. Conducts educational tours and promotes sales of the interactive
Marine Animal Adventures, which are an extension of the Lost Chambers Aquarium
experience. This is accomplished through enthusiastic, engaging guest and
group interactions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Proactively interacts and engages with guests in a courteous, enthusiastic and professional manner sharing information about the myth of Atlantis and Marine life.
* Delivers tours within the Aquarium, with basic knowledge of aquarium mechanical systems, safety, animal care, animal dietary needs and other areas surrounding the operation, with flexibility to small and large groups. Exudes confidence and can captivate audience at all times.
* Actively informs guests about and facilitates bookings of Marine Animal Adventures, as revenue extensions to the Lost Chambers Aquarium experience
* Incorporates and delivers message of marine life conservation throughout their guest experiences
* Be poised and in constant state of readiness in approaching and interacting with guests when placed in specific areas of the Lost Chambers Aquarium and other points of Sale
* Possess basic knowledge of Galaxy systems to view availability and assist with bookings of Marine Animal Adventures
* Ability to stand attentively for long periods and work indoors and outdoors based on operational needs.
* Maintain a safe and clean environment.
* Learn and apply detailed knowledge of Marine life and Myth through structured listening, research, participation, and delivery with peers, management and guests by using learning resources provided. Ability to accept constructive feedback on frequent trainings and assessments
* Research, assimilate and deliver presentations to enhance product knowledge and presentation skills required for Aquatheatres, and large group tours.
* Continuous personal and professional development must be maintained.
* Keep current with the Company's facilities, events and related services.
* Develop a professional approach to the career and function as a team member showing consideration, tolerance, cooperation, reliability and the ability to accept constructive criticism and coaching
* Responsible for understanding and applying all information contained in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and department manuals.
* Carries out service standards to maintain and exceed department targets for Quality assurance guest surveys.
* Ensures a complete understanding and adheres to the policies within the Employee handbook and all division/ department policies

* Performs other reasonable duties throughout the division as requested by management
