Key responsibilities:
* Develop & drive the BCO strategy focused on retention & growth at DP World Jeddah terminals, and Logistics Services, and lead sales strategic planning to ensure the business can meet present and future goals.
* Develop a trade development strategy thereby contributing to customer's retention and business growth for DP World Jeddah, and execute the trade initiative offering an integrated solution and outreach into key international regions from and to KSA to attract new trade to the business.
* Negotiate all investments and new businesses with investors & customers in KSA, and contribute to BCO revenue by offering a suite of solutions and services from trade facilitation, end - to - end Logistics and port within KSA.
* Cooperate with DP World Jeddah offices on BCO engagement and opportunities, and manage BCO customer account performance by ensuring key strategies & solutions in place for volume & revenue management.
* Lead design & development of bespoke or product-based trade solutions in conjunction with BUs for the retention and growth of trade volumes of DP World Jeddah, as well as managing and executing topline sales growth initiatives and the establishment of commercial excellence.
* Drive and create the next generation collaboration model, across international sales and the company that focuses on customer and market transformational opportunities for DP World Jeddah's business growth.
* Lead planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business objectives in relation to DP World Jeddah trade plan.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure that customer project requirements and schedules are being met.
* Responsible for owning the entire bidding and proposal and offer generation process including scope, T&Cs, pricing etc.
* Engage with sales team in all aspects of the deal making process including deal origination, contract negotiations and deal closure, and develop initiatives and business plan to increase trade sales and market activities.
* Lead and drive the development of mid- and long-term business strategy attracting new clients to increase sales and revenue targets of DP World Jeddah.
* Oversee the implementation of an integrated business plan identifying the requirements of potential investors by industry/commodity segments that drive volume and revenue growth in line with the KPI's.
* Support Sales, Customer Service, in defining requirements for designing products and services for new potential customers and liaise with Business Intelligence and lead the development of analytical reports on market size, leading commodities and pricing strategy, and oversee customer need identification in conjunction with Business Intelligence
* Develop the promotion plan with PR, Media & Communications and ensure participation in relevant exhibitions, roadshows and prospections activities to generate leads and maintain relationships with customers /potential sales leads through different channels of communication, communicate, follow up and conduct regular prospective visits to customers to maximize conversion rates to customers.
* Participate in local and international exhibitions to identify new investors, communicate with leads / prospects, and obtain verbal or written communication on their interest from relevant authorized personnel.
* Support the usage of CRM across all trade & BCO engagement teams, and act as top-level contact for potential clients, engaging the organization and develop customer value propositions offering comprehensive solutions by stitching up services.
* Perform other related duties as assigned
* Promote and demonstrate positive behaviours in harmony with DP World's Principals.
* Accountable for leading, mentoring and team engagement.
* Providing direction, promoting collaboration and ensuring the team are enabled to achieve goals and objectives of the business
* Measure and monitor performance against critical criteria, policy and guidelines established by DP World
* Ensure compliance to DP World, Environment, Health, Safety, Security & IT policies and procedures.
* Understand and adhere to DP World's Code of Conduct and Ethics policies
* Ensure adherence to DP World standards and policies.
* Ensure data security is maintained to protect the privacy and interest of clients and key stakeholders.
* Manage team of professionals and disseminating knowledge through continuous learning and development.
* Perform other related duties as assigned by the line manager.
Job requirements:
* Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in business administration/logistics and supply chain/commerce, or a related field
* Experience : 10 to 15 years in handling commercial activities, broad customer-based relationship management, knowledge of shipping lines, agents, traders, Logistics, supply chain management and related activities and previous experience in a leadership position.
* Competencies and skills :
* Proficiency in analyzing and improving Business Process and Procedures, System Enhancement projects and applications
* Commercial Port system application- E-Services, EDI, CRM
* Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel & Word )
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, advanced in English and Arabic .
