MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To lead and manage the nursing team in the provision of patient-centric and
evidence based nursing care, operational efficiency and positive patient
experience
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
* To provide strong leadership and management guidance to the team
* To ensure evidence based patient care practices are followed as per clinical standards
* To ensure positive patient experiences by developing employees and creating an environment that enables team engagement
* To manage allocated clinical and non-clinical resources in a cost efficient and effective manner to enhance safe patient care
* To monitor and manage compliance with legislative, regulatory and clinical standards to ensure continuous quality improvement
Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Essential: Bachelor 's Degree in Nursing from a recognised/ accredited Nursing
Institute
Desired: Master of Science in Nursing or related Healthcare field
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Essential: At least 10 years experience in respective department or specialty,
of which 5 years in the senior capacity, preferably in a private hospital.
Experience in participating in Joint Commission Accreditation and/or CIBAHI.
