Job Description
The role of the Asset Manager
Asset Management plays a crucial role in the successful delivery of our
partnership with Jeddah Airports. Adoption of asset management principles
throughout our local organisation will ensure that we have successfully manage
our service activities and performance, and will enable us to proactively
create value for our customer. Exceeding customer expectation is key to our
strategy by continuously balancing performance, costs and risk.

You are responsible for the following main tasks and activities:
* Set-up an Asset Management organization in collaboration with our customer. Develop and implement an Asset Management System which enables our service organization to be continuously manage:
* Service activities, including control room operations, facilities management and IT & maintenance services on Baggage handling and security screening scope.
* Optimized planning of all service activities, following reliability centred maintenance concepts, balancing performance costs and risks with respect to operational impact.
* Performance levels, in the context of a performance based contract, managing KPI discussions and contractual implications.
* Improvement initiatives, with a long term view on Life Cycle Planning, and Service Innovations (e.g. predictive, data-driven maintenance concepts)
* Stakeholder management, Asset owners and users (airport and airlines), Local & Global Vanderlande teams (e.g. Technology dept)
Qualifications and abilities
* Knowledge of ISO 55000, 9001, or similar
* Demonstrable experience in managing TCO, LCP etc.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills
* Experience in service management (Maintenance, Operations & IT)

* Bachelor or Master's degree
* Strong leadership, strong influencing skills and strong communication capability
* Learner Mindset, Entrepreneurial curiosity and Inclusive Engagement
* 5 years successful experience in similar role for an international company
* Able to successfully build and drive high performing teams
* Strong in communication and motivational skills
* Excellent customer relations experience and experience in negotiating with customers
* Based in Jeddah
* Full professional proficiency in English language (preferably Native)
* Arabic language is not a requirement, but in combination with other qualifications it is considered to be an advantage
* * Risk management, covering contractual, technical (FMECA), safety (HAZOP), and financial risks.
* Manage and lead local team of office manager, quality engineer, and functional lines to improvement specialists (process engineer, reliability engineer / maintenance engineer, integration engineer)
* Manage and exceed customer expectations
* Performance management for total scope of contract, including subcontractors
* Steer and lead improvement projects (functional leadership of Process Engineers, Reliability/Maintenance Engineer, Integration Engineer)
* Review and continuously improve Asset Management System
* Liaise with complex IT environment
* Quality and control: Documentation and reporting, Verification and validation of requirements, audit program.
As an Asset Manager Jeddah you report to the Vanderlande Service Manager for
Jeddah Airport. In your role you will work together with people working for
