Role overview
We are looking for an ambitious Accountant to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi
Arabia. As an Accountant you will be responsible to manage daily operations,
financial functions, including accounts payable/receivable, Supplier &
Customer accounts reconciliations and provide trustworthy information
To succeed in this role, you should also have a problem-solving attitude,
sound analytical skills to create detailed financial reports and forecasts and
advanced Excel abilities as well as a knowledge of accounting.
What you’ll be doing
ACCOUNTING & REPORTING (Core job)
Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements
Maintains financial security by adhering to internal controls
Support month-end and year-end close process
Petty cash management
Develops and maintains sales and margin reporting.
Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues
Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and
procedures
Liaise with Line Manager to improve financial procedures
Increase productivity through automating repetitive tasks
SALES
Daily Sales & Inventory reporting
Monitor & highlight major changes / deviation in sales vs forecast & budgets
Analyzing and interpreting Retail Audit data & competitor activities.
What we’re looking for
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, preferably in FMCG industry.
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
Accuracy and attention to detail
Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data
Awareness of business trends
Strong working knowledge of Excel, Power BI & SAP
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance
Transferable Iqama
