Perform diagnostic radiographs, daily maintenance of x-ray equipment and room,
daily maintenance of x-ray film processor and handles processing of radiology
request, radiology reports and x-ray films and ensures strict compliance with
any rules or regulations that apply to the clinic
Accountabilities
* Prepares patient for radiological procedure by positioning patient; adjusting immobilization devices; moving equipment into specified position; adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.
* Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties; providing explanations of treatment; answering questions.
* Minimizes radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding, and knowledge of exposure factors.
* Maintains production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures; developing radiographs; observing radiographic results; making necessary adjustments.
* Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies
* Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
The employee's duties are not limited to the above-mentioned accountabilities.

Job Requirement
Education
* Bachelor's degree in Applied medical science - Radiology section
Experience
* 2 years of practical experience following graduation.

Languages
