international Airports and Parcel projects? Do you have the commercial

project teams and third parties and encourages them to achieve the almost
unattainable? If so, you're the ideal Project Manager for us!
Your position
As Senior Project Manager Airports & Parcel Solutions Middle East, it's your
job to lead and manage projects to ensure they are a success. Projects are
large scale and complex (up to € 50 million). You will have ultimate
responsibility for the successful delivery of one or more Material Handling
projects and form the link between the client, the team at Vanderlande and
subcontractors. You will be working with a multi-cultural team.
Working autonomously, with a multi-cultural team, you will require a strong
client-oriented approach to deliver realistic project plans. Implementing
projects will require key elements including: customer satisfaction,
expectation management, time management, budget performance, quality and
safety.
During the implementation phase you will also have commercial responsibility.
This will include achieving successful acceptance of your projects by the
customer and the internal service organization.
Your department
The Vanderlande Customer Centre Airports & Parcel Solutions NEME (Northern
Europe and Middle East) is active in the NEME region to design, deliver and
service solutions for airports and parcel customers. As we are expecting
growth, we are looking for a Project Manager with the potential and ambition
to further develop and professionalize our organization in the Middle East.

* You actively seek new business opportunities and enthusiastically enable continuation of co-operation in terms of new assignments/contracts.
* You have an excellent command of the English and Arabic language. Additional languages is a plus.
* Up to 10 years experience in project execution in a technical and challenging environment in the Middle East.
* You have completed a technical program at Bachelor or Master's level.
* Experience with IT/OT software as part of automation projects is preferred.
* International working experience is a plus.
* You have affinity with logistics and/or industrial automation.
* Would be willing to spend 25% of your time (on average) travelling.
