Job Summary
The Waiter position in Shangri-la Jeddah is more than the regular duties of
greeting and serving the guests, but dazzling and dalighting the guests by
creating memorabale dining experience in the Food & Beverage outlet by living
the Shangri-la Standards.
As a Waiter we rely on you to
Have a strong understanding of the menu and the way each dish is prepared.
Suggest to guests on Menu selection.
Take orders and serve with great love and affection.
Obssess over delighting guests and create wow moments.
Get the restauarnt ready before service
Seamlessly coordinate with the Culinary team to ensure timely service to the
guest.
Ensuring the billing is done appropraitely and posted accordingly.
Follow the Shangri-la Food Safety Processes and Procedures.
Assist fellow colleagues in the sucess of the F&B; outlet.
Assist the supervisor in ensuring smooth meal operations
What we're looking for
Great conversational skills for engaging with guests.
Strong English skills
Positive Attitude and willingness to learn.
Hotel School Degreee or a diploma would be an added advantage.
Minimum of 1 year of expereince as an waiter in 5 Star Hotels.
