Jeddah Prep and Grammar School is seeking a Head of Prep School, who will play
a strategic role in the development of the school supporting the Headmistress.
This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a high achieving school at the
heart of the British expatriate community in Saudi Arabia. We are a well-
established, not for profit school with a proven record for delivering quality
education.
This position would be suitable for an inspirational and innovative leader who
can secure the full engagement of staff and all other stakeholders in the
delivery of the school's strategic and operational aims. This is a unique
opportunity to play a significant role in the development of our school. It
will provide personal development opportunities for an aspiring principal.
Jeddah Prep and Grammar School was founded in ‎1967 as a coeducational
community school offering high quality British Education. It has not for
profit status. It currently has approximately ‎750 pupils from over ‎40
countries and continues to grow.
The school operates as a through school, divided into three parts; the Early
Years (Nursery and Reception), the Prep School (years ‎1 to ‎6) and the Grammar
School (Years ‎7 to ‎13). The youngest children in Nursery and Reception classes
follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and from year ‎1, the
English National Curriculum is followed until year ‎6. In the Grammar School
our pupils continue with the English National Curriculum delivered through
specialist teachers in order to best prepare them for the study of IGCSE
subjects in years ‎10 and ‎11. Pupils in years ‎12 and ‎13 follow the A level
curriculum.
