Job Description
JOB ACTIVITIES
* Administrative support/ document controller of the HSEQ management system. Ensure HSEQ management System, Documents and Records are identified , effectively managed , regularly reviewed and updated as necessary
* Compliance and improvement of TEMME HSEQ requirement.
* Identifying potential hazards & conducting HSE risk analysis.
* Maintaining the compliance with JAFZA EHS Trakhees requirements and OFC.
* Ensure compliance of HSEQ Policy, rules, regulations, PPE and day-to- day practices in the plant.
* Ensure effective reporting of any HSEQ matter within various HSEQ Software available in the affiliate.
* Coordinate the overall inspection plan and ensure proper verification and closure of open actions linked to HSEQ Software ( near miss, mock drills, audit & inspection reports, safety tours etc).
* Participate in the safety risk assessment, health risk assessment, planned general inspections, and other kind of audits as per the TLBU QHSE requirements.
* Identify and plan the yearly health monitoring surveys ( noise, heat, air, drinking water etc)
* Provide recommendations related to enhance the sustainability/ESG/ SDG's strategy, methods, framework, and related tools to in achieving the sustainability objectives.
* Development of sustainability/ESG programs and related reporting, such as materiality assessments, peer benchmarking, stakeholder engagement, gap analysis (in alignment with common sustainability/ESG reporting standards, and the preparation of reporting (internal and external) materials.
* Review of relevant sustainability data (i.e. benchmarking, trends, regulatory developments).
* Participate in the following areas: ESG assessments, sustainability impact assessment, coupling environmental and macroeconomic analysis, green and circular economy in policy development.
* Familiar with and proven experience in using contemporary international standards on sustainability measurement, assessment tools and methodologies related to the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 17) as well as with collaborative initiatives being undertaken by governments and businesses to meet their international commitments (eg. climate action platform of UNFCCC).
* Strong knowledge on carbon reduction calculation, and knowledgeable about key trends around global energy transition, energy efficiency, environment preservation and decarbonisation strategy.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES :
* Maintain environmental, health and safety parameters in accordance with legal requirements by the UAE 's authorities.
* Maintains current working knowledge of, and ensures compliance with, all applicable local, federal, and internal environmental laws and regulations.
* Conducts research and surveys to identify environmental and sustainability concerns, interests, and issues.
* Maintain environment health and safety records.
* Demonstrates exemplary conduct, rigor, vigilance and professionalism regarding HSEQ in all their activities
* Ensure adherence to compliance processes and guidelines specific to position's roles and responsibilities.
* Implementation of HSEQ Management System.
QHSE OBJECTIVES AND ASSIGNMENTS :
* Proposes and implements strategies to address various environmental concerns including conservation, reduction of pollution, recycling, waste management, and sustainability.
* Communicate complex concepts to a non-technical audience through written and oral communication
* To understand and adherence to the current regulatory requirements applicable to the areas of responsibilities.
* Strict adherence and compliance towards Group HSE Charter & MAESTRO requirement and affiliate's HSEQ Policy, Procedures & specific rules & regulations applicable to the area of activity at all time.
* Participate in the safety risk assessment, health risk assessment, planned general inspections and other kind of audits as per the TLBU QHSE requirements.
* Participate in the investigation and analysis of incidents as and when required.
* Strict adherence to QHSE requirements with full authority to stop any operation for safety reasons.
* Identify and plan the yearly health monitoring surveys ( noise, heat, air, drinking water
* Define the sustainability strategy and action plan through the group various tools (SRM for example)

* External interaction - with Legal authorities, HSE service providers, Company Stakeholders, neighbourhood , Contractors.
Candidate profile
Qualifications / experience required
Knowledge:
* Good environmental, health, safety and suitability knowledge in a working environment.
* OHS ( Occupational Health Safety) and Industrial hygiene know-how in compliance with the local regulations and best practices
* Strong knowledge on environmental aspects including waste optimization solutions based on local environmental agencies requirements such as Dubai Municipality, EHS Trakhees
Skills:
* Competence & knowledge of the HSEQ international standards (ISO 9001,14001.45001 latest version ) and implementation of HSEQ systems.
* Excellent interpersonal, analytical and reporting skills
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite and/or related software.
* Arabic language proficiency (verbal and written) is an added advantage
Experience:
* Minimum 3 years working experience in technical field involving environment and sustainability projects
* Have a confirmed experience dealing with local environmental agencies
* Experience in working with relevant sustainability, climate change and biodiversity modeling software
* Should be able to coordinate the work with external contractors and dealing with local authorities and stakeholders
* Understanding of the following concepts and frameworks preferred:
* Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)
* Sustainably Development Goals (SDGs)
* United Nations Global Compact (UNGC)
Education:
* Graduate / Bachelor 's degree in Environment/ESG/Sustainability or equivalent studies. / Technical field an additional qualification in HSE shall be an added advantage
