The General Manager for Key Accounts (Industrial Projects) role is to oversee
and drive the strategic and business development objectives in relation to
revenue and growth targets. Managing and expanding a portfolio of customers
and taking an active lead for business development. Focusing on both regional
and global accounts working in partnership with the team on operations.
Motivate the team through clear leadership and guidance as well as honest
dialogue and pro-active personnel management and team building.

Detailed Responsibilities:* *
* Development of clients in the local market as well as global through the DSV products.
* Drive growth by collaborating within sales and the GM's.
* Working closely with the DSV network to deliver high service and maximize profit.
* Engage with Key Customer and create and maintain a profile of customers.
* Ensure account segregation and clear ownership for retention and growth and plans are place.
* Attend monthly meeting and maintain relationship with customer.
* Review pipeline, activities, and performance.
* Review and monitor GP on all account including loss making accounts and take corrective action.
* Keep up to date with market knowledge and trends and share with team and management.
* To manage and monitor the usage of CRM system (if applicable) together with all the DSV reports.
* Prepare and deliver presentations of the pipeline and strategy to pursue the targeted opportunities as agreed with the management.
* Manage tenders in cooperation with commercial team to ensure submission of accurate, coherent, and competitive Proposals.
* Oversee the operations in each respective country for all Key Accounts managed by the department.
* Ensure team KPI's are set and maintained by the sales teams.
* SOP are created for all customers along with Contract agreements.
* Overall management responsibilities of the team and expectations.
* Reviewing the bad debts with finance and ensure collection of money.
* Adhere to the policies and standards of DSV for credit terms.
* Any other task instructed by Management.

Internal - General Managers, Sales Managers, Network offices, Finance, HR.
External - Customers/Clients
Qualifications & Characteristics:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
* 8+ years of experience of commercial, sales, key account management, including managerial responsibilities.
* Experience in MENA Market Project Logistics with emphasis on the GCC.
* Self-managed, result driven & outgoing personality.
* Customer minded but able to make his/her customers commit to the agreements in place.
* Very good communicator, both towards internal departments as towards customers/clients.
* Very good organisation skills.
* Drive a high-performance team, able to motivate and guide the team.
* Diplomatic, influencing & trustworthy.
* Ability to define requirements, analyse facts, and determine relevant solutions/actions to be taken.
* Extrovert personality with strong relationship building capabilities.
* Energetic & proactive.
* Able to detect improvements in both own environments as in surrounding processes.
* English language is mandatory plus any other languages
