Financial Specialist

Job Description:
Principal Objective: A brief summary of the responsibilities of the
position
The Financial Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the finance
department at the RC Headquarters. The Financial Specialist will be
responsible for verifying accounting transactions, managing accruals, and
handling cash-related activities. The successful candidate will contribute to
maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with financial
policies and procedures, and providing essential financial information for
decision-making.
Major Activities Performed: List the major job function(s) of the
position.
* Accounting Transactions: Verify and record financial transactions accurately in accordance with established accounting principles and guidelines. Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary financial data and documentation. Ensure timely and accurate entry of financial transactions into the accounting system.
* Accruals: Assist in the preparation and verification of accruals to ensure that financial statements reflect the economic activities of the organization. Work closely with the Accounting Manager to ensure that all accruals are properly accounted for in the financial statements.
* Journal Entries: Monitor and reconcile Accounting Journal transactions to maintain accurate balances in both cash and accrual basis. Collaborate with the Accounting team to manage Accounting Reports effectively. Prepare and process documentation as needed.
* Accounting Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of accounting reports for management.
* Assist in the Tallying of Accounting data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
* Assist in the preparation for audits and provide necessary documentation as required.
* Documentation and Recordkeeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records. Assist in the development and implementation of document retention policies.
* Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the implementation of best practices within the finance department.
Experience and Qualifications: List the background experience required for

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
* Proven ‎10+ years of experience in related field
* Knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
