QA/QC Engineer Completion
NEOM The Line
Review and maintain knowledge of Terms and Conditions of all subcontracts for
which he is responsible. Attend kick-off meetings and subsequent progress
meetings with subcontractors and produce and distribute minutes of meetings.
Survey and measure work in progress and check subcontractors interim payments
applications. Value additional works, site instructions, variations and
daywork applications. Negotiate 'star rates' with subcontractors where
necessary. Identify and report potential problem areas, particularly those
that are likely to give rise to claims. Assist subcontracts administrator in
the analysis and resolution of subcontractors claims. Conduct final measure on
work executed and prepare and agree final accounts. Assist in close-out of
completed claims.
What You 'll Be Doing
* Providing leadership for development and implementation of design and construction Quality Control Programs, procedures, resource allocation, and training;
* Providing leadership for Quality Control support activities for assigned program (s) or projects (s) to ensure that products or services provided are IAW customer and Parsons requirements:
* Qualifying, training, certifying and supervising all Quality Control personnel:
* Interacting regularly with client, program and project management teams; interacts with Parsons Quality Assurance and executive management
What Required Skills You 'll Bring
A minimum of 7 years overall experience with at least 5 years experience in a
quality management position on major civil works projects including large
pipeline and/or tunnel design and construction. Candidate should have
completed a 3 or 4-year degree in a Civil Engineering or related field.
The individual shall be certified to perform activities in one or more of the
following areas (or subjects): Mechanical, , Civil, Structural, , Welding,
Non-Destructive Examination, Receiving, and Special Processes.
Certification to industry recognized standards, such as certification to IEEE,
ACI or International Code Council.
