our collaborative Jacobs team is busier than ever providing Technical
Advisory, Program Management and Design Engineering solutions for a number of
high-profile Aviation projects. We offer the unique opportunity to work on
Airport projects from planning and design to construction and operational
readiness.
We have recently awarded to provide detailed engineering services of terminal
and other landside facilities of an iconic and futuristic Airport project. The
project is located on Saudi's west coast and is part of the larger Red Sea
project and tourism development. Our scope also includes Technical Advisory
services and interface management of various construction contracts. We are
looking for dynamic and result oriented professional to be part of Technical
Advisory services team to lead shop drawing reviews, approval of material
submissions, review and approval of all change requests to be submitted by the
various contractors that could impact the design and support the client with
managing the various interfaces and resolving any conflict.

As a Systems Lead, you will review the design/shop drawings carried out by the
Contractor to ensure that the design intent and quality are maintained. You
will provide comments where necessary and
provide confirmation of the compliance of the design. You will carry out all
necessary Interface Management activities to ensure correct integration
between the Construction Packages and to avoid any gaps, misalignment or
buildability issues. You will respond to the Contractor's design requests for
information (RFI) and prepare timely written responses. You will review and
comment on the Contractor's method statements and risk assessments for
critical works and consult with the Client regarding the same prior to the
commencement of construction.
You will have the opportunity to attend Factory acceptance tests (FAT) and
site acceptance tests (SAT) inside or outside KSA at the Employer discretion.
You will provide reports on progress and quality of the shop drawings in line
with the Project Requirements. You will work collaboratively with our Airport
team, Sub-consultants, Architects, Security consultants and MEP services and
Utility engineers, Stakeholders, Authorities and Service Providers. You will
provide advice for the Employer, Construction Supervision Consultant and the
contractor to review and implement in terms of but not limited to the Off Site
Manufacturing, Modular Construction and Pods, Innovative temporary works
systems, Major lifts, Augmented Reality (AR) mockups for material selection.
Your scope will also include Master System Integrator (MSI), Testbed and Radio
studies.
Here 's What You'll Need:
As a successful candidate you will have a degree from a recognised university
in an appropriate field such as Electrical Engineer, Electronics or similar.
You must have significant experience in Airport-Landside and Terminal Building
Systems, SAS-Specialist Airport Systems, ICT, SMART, Security, MSI, Test beds,
Radio studies etc.
You should be proficiency in Local (Saudi Building codes), International codes
and standards. BIM Knowledge and CDE design collaboration and workings
required.
