Key responsibilities
* Handing over and continued jobs to next shift clearly and smoothly.
* Own the SCCT accreditation process
* To develop and manage integrated Safety, Occupational & Health Management Systems (eg. ISO ‎45001, Risk Management Programmers, Environmental ISO ‎14001 and Quality Systems) with the objective of ensuring and assisting operations to achieve its strategic objectives
* Plan and Conduct Company scheduled internal & external HSE audits, advise senior management and the workforce on HSE-related issues, including action plans on audits:
A. Ensure the company complies with current HSE legislation.
B. Assist in drawing up, reviewing, recommending changes and control of
policies and procedures.
C. Provide HSE improvement proposals stating: the non-conformance, proposed
corrective action, required resources for corrective action and plan of
implementation.

• Follows up to ensure that corrective actions are implemented where necessary and ensure that any certification requirements are complied with the legal requirements & APMT system


• Assist HSE management in the preparation and presentation of field HSE meetings


• Control and continuous improvement of QHSE procedures.


• Manage the incident management procedures.


• Manage the work and development of department safety representatives.


• Prepare and update QHSE system content to the public area


• Responsible for preparing written weekly and monthly QHSE reports, statistics and presentations related to QHSE performance, reported to the higher management weekly.


• Manage the production and ongoing implementation / improvement of the QHSE systems.


• Make reports to the Regional Headquarters of APM Terminals Safety (LTIF, RF, GMR, High Severity Incidents, and other indicators) by tracking improvements in the indicators evaluated.


• Monitor compliance of QHSE KPI established by the organization in coordination with the staff of the organization.


• Develop and monitor HSE Plan, supporting the implementation of the planned actions.


• Coordinate internally and with third meetings where QHSE topics are addressed, with the intention of minimizing the risks.


• Propose alternative workspace redesign to ensure the prevention of accidents within the organization.


• Assist with the production of relevant monthly and other reports in relation to all activities including monthly QHSE reports, and the Annual Management Review.


• Assist with development and manage implementation of safety initiatives as part of the company safety cultural development.


• Coordinate implementation and management of a safety training program covering QHSE matters within SCCT.

We are looking for
* Bachelor's degree in practical and scientific college.
* Certified/ full knowledge of ISO ‎45001 & ISO ‎14001 lead auditor with full * knowledge to implement the QHSE management systems.
Requires at least ‎3 years of health, safety and environmental experience, either in the public or private sector & at least two years of supervisory experience.
* Requires an understanding of hazards/ Risks.
* Requires full understanding of governmental safety laws and regulations.
* Requires an understanding of international standards of safe work practices for the industry.
* Requires an understanding of work injuries, the investigation process to determine cause, and the process to assess practical solutions.
* Must have extensive knowledge in investigative procedures and report-writing.
* Requires the ability to communicate both in English & the local language.
* Requires excellent organizational skills, including planning, directing, and monitoring activities.
* Requires good problem-solving skills, with an ability to define the problem, examine solutions, and select the best solution, and this must be done at times immediately under stress .
