WSP are currently seeking a dedicated Civil Inspector with expertise in piling
and marine infrastructure for a significant site supervision role in Al Wajh,
Saudi Arabia.
You will be responsible for conducting inspections, monitoring construction
activities, and ensuring that the work aligns with project specifications,
safety standards, and industry regulations.

Your new role, what's involved?

• Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to assess the quality and progress of piling and marine infrastructure construction activities.


• Quality Control: Ensure that all construction work adheres to project plans, drawings, specifications, and quality standards.


• Compliance: Monitor and enforce safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry codes to maintain compliance throughout the project.


• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inspections, findings, and construction activities, including photographs and reports.


• Issue Resolution: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address and resolve any construction-related issues promptly.


• Testing and Certification: Oversee and coordinate necessary material testing and certification processes to validate compliance with project requirements.


• Progress Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to project stakeholders, highlighting any deviations, concerns, or recommendations.


• Safety: Promote and enforce safety best practices on the construction site, ensuring the well-being of all workers and personnel.


• Change Management: Evaluate and approve any requested changes or variations, ensuring they align with project goals and specifications.


• Client Interaction: Interface with clients and project owners to address inquiries, provide project updates, and ensure client satisfaction.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Civil Inspector, with a strong background in piling and marine infrastructure projects.
* Familiarity with construction codes, regulations, and best practices in Saudi Arabia.
* Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in construction inspection tools and software.
* Effective communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
* Relevant certifications or training in construction inspection are preferred.
