Contributes to the provision of safe, patient and familyfocused quality care.
Responsible for screening, interviewing, and assigningapplications in an
efficient and effective manner. Promotes nursing at Hospitalin a positive
customer friendly manner. Contributes to the successfulachievement of the
Nursing Affairs (NA) strategic goals.


Essential Responsibilities and Duties


  • Reviews all nursing candidates ' applications and makes recommendations as appropriate based on candidate's eligibility for employment.

  • Participates in interviews for local applicants. Chooses most suitable service for referral by review of credentials and staffing requirements. Coordinates departmental interviews of candidates.

  • Informs candidates of salaries, benefits, and conditions of employment.

  • Liaises with international and local recruiters to expedite the processing of candidates' files.

  • Demonstrates collaborative multi-disciplinary partnerships working towards the achievements of constant improvement in quality patient care by ensuring staff are mobilized in a timely manner.

  • Reviews all open positions on a regular basis and assesses suitability and availability of candidates on waiting list.

  • Maintains computer records on all candidates and adapts to the introduction of new information systems as necessary.

  • Coordinates with external applicants in dealing with inquiries and providing information on nursing at the Hospital in a customer friendly manner.

  • Coordinates the management of monthly data collection in respect to manpower status. Prepares recruitment reports as requested.

  • Evaluates information given to candidates and adapts updates as required to maintain efficient service.

  • Participates in the promotion and maintenance of effective communication. Treats colleagues, patients, and visitors with dignity and respect at all times.

  • Actively welcomes new staff/students to NA and participates in retention activities.

  • Contributes to the retention of all staff to meet NA turnover rate goal. Participates in retention activities and has open door policy in respect to staff seeking assistance.

  • Promotes a safe environment for all by embracing a safety culture and identifying areas of risk to supervisor. Complies with policies for personal safety and for the prevention of healthcare associated infections.

  • Contributes to the achievement of cost efficiency savings in assigned area. Maintains an awareness of resource utilization, exercising care in the ordering and use of equipment and materials.

  • Develops and sustains own knowledge, skills and professional awareness and maintains a professional profile. Provides documented evidence of performance and maintenance of skills consistent with position.

  • Participates in Performance Improvement activities as assigned. Contributes to special projects/assignments linked to nursing strategic priorities and professional practice model.

  • Participates in new staff orientation to NA. Acts as a resource for all new nursing arrivals.

  • Contributes to increasing the number of Saudi nurses by actively pursuing quality applicants.

  • Contributes to the achievement of successful implementation of Oracle and clinical information systems.

  • Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.

  • Participates in self and other's education, training and development, as applicable.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


**

Education**
Bachelor 's Degree or Associate Degree/Diploma in Nursing isrequired.


Experience Required

Four (‎4) years of nursing experience withBachelor 's Degree or six (‎6) years
with Associate Degree/Diploma is required.


Other Requirements(Certificates)


  • Current Registered Nurse Licensure from country of origin and Saudi Commission
    for Health Specialties Licensure is required.

  • Knowledgeof computer applications including spreadsheets is required.
