Spa & Recreation Operations Supervisor
We are looking for a passionate Spa & Recreation Operations Supervisor to join
our team at Banyan Tree Al Ula Spa Team.

What will you be doing:
* OPERATIONAL
* Enhances customer recognition at all times by addressing the customer by name and interacting with them on a professional level
* Always offer alternatives if a requested service is unavailable
* Always be visible to customers by being present at the reception desk
* Be fully conversant with all Banyan Tree Spa & Recreation services and facilities to make helpful recommendations and upsell Spa & Recreation services and cross-sell spa products
* Accepts and accurately records all customer bookings for Spa & Recreation services by departmental procedures
* Ensures that the resort's accounting procedures carry out all cashiering functions
* Accepts responsibility for and shows initiative in decision-making when handling minor customer objections to enhance customer satisfaction
* Refers to significant customer objections to immediate superiors to prevent further customer dissatisfaction
* Ensures Spa retail items are attractively displayed to maximize sales
* Ensures the security and safety of all Spa & Recreation areas and facilities and is responsible for Spa keys
* To supervise and check the standard of the receptionists
* Perform as the receptionist/cashier when needed
* Take care of customers' unique needs
* Make sure all customers are served correctly and politely
* Check customers' satisfaction after Spa & Recreation services
* In charge and help solve problems in the absence of the Ass. Spa & Recreation Manager
* Perform tasks delegated by the Ass. Spa & Recreation Manager
* ASSOCIATE HANDLING
* Supervises and, if necessary, disciplines subordinates under the direct control
* Reports sickness or misconduct of Spa & Recreation associate to immediate superior
* Ensures that all associates report for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform and nametags
* Builds an efficient team of subordinates by taking an active interest in their welfare, safety, security, training, and development
* Ensures that all associates have a complete understanding of the company's policies and procedures so that they may adhere to them
* As directed, conducts training for new and existing associates and regularly reports all activities to the Ass. Spa & Recreation Manager. To keep accurate departmental records of all training conducted
* Ensures that all receptionists follow UAB standards
* Ensures that the reception area is always neat, tidy, and clean.
* Ensure that all employees understand the spa and resort's policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
* Build an efficient and productive team of employees by taking an active interest in their welfare, safety, training and development, and effective counseling
* Conduct periodical evaluations of employees' performance and take appropriate corrective measures for improvements
* Propose employees' annual vacation and schedule Public Holidays, off-in-lieu during off-peak periods
* Ensure that the facility is adequately operated during peak periods
* Take appropriate disciplinary action against repeat offenders of the company's rules and regulations, policies, and procedures
* ADMINISTRATION
* Ensures that all department reports and correspondences are completed accurately and punctually
* Ensures proper handling of lost and found items
* Prepares shift roster and assigns daily tasks to subordinates
* Follows correct procedures for requisitioning and control of supplies
* Ensures cash float is always correct
* Ensures the last shift closes correctly and that all doors are locked
* Updates contract files properly and periodically
Your experience and skills include:
* Minimum ‎3 year experience in spa or hospitality industry.
* Safety oriented First Aid.
* CPR ‑ Basic Rescuer.
* Lifeguard Certification
