Senior Business Analyst - Alshaya IT eCommerce (DTO):
Role Summary
The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for new implementation and
enhancements for eCommerce landscape in Alshaya.
* With some guidance, leads project execution and represents feature(s) within the cross-functional team
* Has established a network across multiple domains and/or functional partners
* Owns one or more products of moderate complexity or importance
* Represents their product within IT and to business
* Seen as a critical stakeholder for feedback on new feature ideas
* Informally mentors BAs
Roles & Responsibilities
* Reporting into the Manager, the senior business analysts are expected to drive the business requirement coordination of the new implementation and change needs for omni- solutions.
* Takes decisions that lead to the right solutions
* Own requirement gathering, delivery and UAT
* Efficient in stakeholder management, communication and time management
* Multi-tasker, work on multiple assignments at the same time
* Works with the PMO, Domain BA's, vendor and onshore solution architect for owning and delivering new features and capabilities on the eCommerce platform
* Provide inputs on best practices of solution design and governance
* Guide and track development team on SIT and User Testing
* Conducting user trainings
* Maintains positive attitude and momentum in challenging situations.
* Communicates effectively with all partners.
* Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work.
* Individual contributor role.
Experience
* Minimum ‎5 years of experience in Retail B2C product management/eCommerce web and app implementation
* Sound knowledge on delivery methodologies like Agile, Kanban etc.: ‎3-‎5 Years
* Deep problem solving and analysis experience (solving business problem) - in a customer focused environment
* Experience working in a cross functional time-zone distributed team environment
* Experience working with vendors and contractors
Qualification
* BE / B.Tech / MBA in Computer Science or equivalent field from tier ‎1/‎2 colleges
* Product Management Certification (desired)
