Assistant Manager Obligor Credit Risk Management- Risk Management Division

Job Description

• Verifies accuracy and completeness of the credit applications and Investment proposals.


• Evaluates independently credit and investment proposals in terms of financials, source of repayment, and structure of facilities & adequacy of collateral/support.


• Checks compliance with Central Bank regulations and Bank's Credit Policy of proposal submitted by Business Divisions.


• Confirms proposals are objectively & correctly risk graded.


• Suggests means to mitigate potential / existing risks assisting in the credit decision process.


• Conducts pre and post fact reviews of assigned / identified exposures at regular intervals.


• Performs micro / macro analysis on the Bank's lending portfolio, as and when required.


• Undertakes specific credit related projects (as guided by Line-Manager) that enhance the credit culture.


• Assists other Departments in regard to risk management, as and when required.


• Conducts initial review obligors' risk rating.


• Sees to any additional request made by Line-Manager.

Skills

• Quantitative and analytical skills.


• Effective written and verbal communication and presentation.


• Adequate knowledge of credit analysis and assessment.


• Good document maintenance, effective retrieval.

Education

Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other related fields.
