  • Complete liaison with architectural firm engaged by the company on various projects.

  • Responsible for design and presentation drafting on interior design projects, including schematic design tasks and design development. Works directly with the Interiors Principal to plan, design, and furnish interiors on a variety of workplace, multifamily, higher education and hospitality projects. Formulates designs that are practical, aesthetic, and conducive to intended purposes per projects.

  • Lead interior design assignments that include conceptual design, schematic design, design development & construction documents.

  • Develop space planning concepts, especially for commercial workspaces.

  • Develop and deliver graphic presentation materials and design documentation for architectural interiors, including visuals and samples.

  • Research, select and document the overall interiors package for a variety of architectural projects, including but not limited to full FF&E: Concept/style development, Color palette development, Interior finish material selection (material/mood board), Furniture/Fabric selection, Fixture and equipment selection

  • Create a full set of construction documents, including construction details, ADA and exiting drawings.

  • Develop detailed brand guidelines around concept design

  • Interface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project.

  • Conduct on-site observations.

  • Process submittals, RFIs, substitution requests, etc. during construction.

  • Leverage oneself beyond project-based focus to address greater office and regional issues.

  • Develop BOQ for all projects.

  • Any other duties as assigned by management.


Skills



  • High level computer skills

  • Thorough understanding of auto cad, 3D Max and other design software

  • Exposure to modern restaurant designs/ trends

  • Understanding of MEP

  • Experience in designing upmarket restaurants a preference

  • Creative, vibrant and positive

  • Interior Design/ Architectural Engineering or Degree/ diploma in architectural engineering/interior designing
