About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Technician - Kitchen to join Engineering
department in Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa Kuwait.
* Checking and rectifying all the kitchen equipments of the property which reflects on the standard of the Hotel.
* Ensure all the portable appliances are PAT tested as per the FLS matrix.
* Ensure that all Work Order, PPM & CWA's and General Maintenance works are executed as directed by the Team Leaders.
* Knowledge of maintaining Fire, Life & Safety System and records.
* Good all round skills / high standard.
* To maintain the work area safe and tidy conditions.
* Be familiar with and comply with all relevant Engineering Department Policies, Process and Procedures.
* Basics of engineering drawings.
* Ensure that the par level of all kitchen items are been maintained in the stores.
* Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management

About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and
qualifications:
* A minimum of ‎2 year experience as an Kitchen Technician or similar role in a hospitality environment
* Knowledge of kitchen equipment maintenance, repairs and trouble shooting.
* Knowledge in various trades like Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC or equivalent experience would be an added value
* Engineering certificate in related fields. At least ‎1 year formal training (certified).
* Knowledge in computer based planned preventive maintenance
* Knowledge of maintaining Fire, Life & Safety System and work order system
* Good English communication skills
