Reports To: Group Chief Human Capital Officer
Job Purpose:
The Technical Recruiter shall be responsible for drafting and posting
technical job descriptions, sourcing potential candidates from niche
platforms, screening resumes based on specialized skills, and conducting
interviews using various methods. The recruiter must collaborate with the IT
team leaders to understand the hiring needs, promote the company 's employer
brand, and onboard new hires. Additionally, they must stay updated with the
technology trends and products and participate in networking events to connect
with IT professionals.
Key Responsibilities
* Screen and interview candidates to ensure and put forward the best quality candidates to the hiring manager.
* Consult with the department manager on overall hiring strategies and tailor the approach according to the department requirements.
* Network online and offline with potential candidates to promote the employer brand and ensure to attract the best professionals/ talents in the market.
* Identify the most effective and cost-efficient methods for recruiting and attracting candidates.
* Ensure candidates can be evaluated against industry standard assessments by staying updated with the latest industry trends. Operational
* Collaborate with the department manager and HR to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions, specifications and hiring criteria.
* Analyze all job's requirements and objectives before publishing the job posts.
* Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative recruiting strategies to find quality candidates and prospect for new business.
* Maintain a database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects, hired, and declined candidates, exited employees considered for rehiring, and other candidate relationships.
* Present reports on recruitment and analyze the status of recruitment practices regularly with the department manager.
* Engage with the HR team to know the ins and outs of the respective departments and better understand their hiring needs and job specifications.
* Develop and release job postings on various platforms, such as social media and job boards.
* Maintain good balance between candidate and the stakeholders to ensure finding the best match for all parties.
* Screen resumes and prospects, qualify, interview, and manage candidates throughout the interview process from prepping before interviews to assisting with final offer negotiation.
* Work closely with the department manager on headcount planning and process.
* Maintain contact with candidates to keep them up to date on the status of their applications.
* Maintain the talents pool within departments, and with relation to headhunting agencies, outsourcing & ODC (Offshore Development Centers).
* Provide and recommend rotation strategy, to build a culture of talent knowledge sharing, and help building business continuity.
* Streamline internal training, and identify external training programs for internal teams, and enforce up to date knowledge enhancements.
* Build a portfolio of external expertise wherever needed and link them to internal functions and domain base requirements.
* Create and execute relation with universities and manage internship programs to hire in specific fields and domains.
* Talent management and capacity building planning, to assure that nothing in lacked in the evolving market conditions.
* Handle the employee information with utmost confidentiality
* Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and technological developments.
Candidate Profile:
* Requirement open for all nationals.
* Must have Bachelor's degree in human resources or technology related discipline.
* 3-5 years of work experience in recruitment - ideally as a Technical/IT Recruiter
* Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g., Teams, Zoom, Google Meet etc.)
* Experience using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to source quality candidates.
